Early diagnosis of HIV is key.
Treatment for HIV is often called Anti-retroviral therapy or ART. ART can dramatically prolong the lives of many people infected with HIV and lower their chance of infecting others.
Early diagnosis of HIV infection and linkage to care enable people to start treatment sooner, leading to better health outcomes and longer lives, and reducing the risk of spreading HIV to others.

There are multiple options if you are looking to get HIV treatment and/or counseling. Students attending Morehouse College can contact the Morehouse School of Medicine Student Health and Wellness Center to for HIV treatment and referrals.
Students at Atlanta Metropolitan State College can contact one of our community partners: ANIZ or NAESM.
